November 25th-30th, 2025, the South Shore Hospice Palliative Care
Society (SSHPCS) held its fifth annual Hope for Hospice On-Line
Auction.
This auction raised funds in support of clients and families
throughout Lunenburg and Queens County, who are experiencing life
limiting illnesses, or who are nearing end of life. We reached out to
local artists and businesses for donations of art and unique experiences and they did not disappoint.

Our community is amazing and so are those who volunteered and who supported through their bids and donations to the auction.

We are pleased to share that we met our fundraising goal and raised just over $20,000!

We are already thinking about next year’s auction.

If you would like to donate please contact our office at 902-527-0000.

The SSHPCS was established with a vision to promote compassionate
and accessible end of life care in an environment of choice. We currently
offer a variety of support programs and educational opportunities, with
our ultimate goal to establish a free-standing hospice for the residents of
the South Shore. Through our partnerships with community,
government, education, advocacy, and provision of resources we are
making a difference but there is still much to be done.
These funds stay in our communities and help us
continue this important work.
