Ways to Connect

Our goal is to enhance community knowledge of palliative care practice and services and support the individual needs of palliative care patients and their families. Here are just a few of the opportunities South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society provides for you to connect with us, to both learn and grow:

Death Cafe

Have questions that you would like to ask but don’t know where to turn? Want to have a conversation about death but are not yet comfortable talking with your family?

Death Cafes offer an opportunity for people to gather over a cup of coffee or tea and talk about death in an informal and safe environment. The goal is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
